M.M. Ferry is a historical and military fantasy fiction writer who lives with his wife and family in California, along with an allotment of cats far in excess of the normal quota. 

His passion as a writer is to voice unusual stories that inspire readers to imagine a life that might have been in a world that never was. His brand of fantasy is grounded with moral realism where characters survive by wit, cunning or strength, navigating the consequences of their actions in gritty worlds of iron and bone. 

He fuels his tales with material from a life full of rich experience with vocations including Maintenance Worker, Ski Instructor, Soldier, Software Engineer, and Executive. Everywhere he goes he sees characters on all sides. They don't even know they are characters. Yet they are.
